One Year
Konica Autoreflex TC, 50mm F1.7, Kodak Portra 400
My daughter was born. I cried, unexpectedly. And then a year passed immediately. And my wife made a delicious chocolate praline torte cake. We put a candle on it, and my daughter was one.
I got in trouble for shooting the entirety of her birthday on film. My wife probably had some justification for her concerns, but by the grace of God the shots all turned out well. And my pride was saved. Precious, precious ego.
This past week, I went on vacation, and Google+ turned one. We didn’t make a cake. But I’m sure they made a few at Google.
